Hello:DLike me or not, you'll have to bear with me 'cos this is my RSP blog, not yours(:
But, I promise I'll try to make you like me:D
I'll define RSP first:
- Stands for Regional Studies Program, a program first implemented in the year 2008 to teach students about SEA, otherwise known as South East Asia.
I live in Singapore, part of SEA.
That's why it's important for me to know about SEA, yeahh.
Singapore started the ASEAN, which stands for Association of South-Eat Asian Nations.
SEA contains the following countries, of which all but East Timor are in ASEAN:
- Singapore [yes, Singapore!]
- Malaysia, our [my?] neighbouring country
- Indonesia
- East Timor
- Thailand
- Cambodia
- Laos
- Vietnam
- Myanmar
- Philippines
- Brunei
Mmmmm. Yes.
Back to RSP!:D
Yes, it was started in the year 2008, and only a few selected schools can take part:
- Victoria Secondary School
- Raffles Institution
- Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)
- Raffles Girls' School
Mhm.
If you didn't know, all of the schools but RGS are all boys schools.
And I'm in RGS.
Which makes me one of the out-numbered girls D:
Okay yes never mind heehee.
RSP was started in the year 2008! Which makes me one of the pioneers:D Okay wait never mind.
I like SEA because:
- I live in it!
- My relatives live in it.
- It's natural to have a certain sort of interest about the place you live in.
- I find the culture very intriguing
- ... like the food!(:
- And the religion.
- And the culture, yes.
Yes okay I have to go study stuff now.
Post next time, maybe.
