Yes, the longgggggggggggggggggggg overdue post about our fieldtrip.
Dadada.
Can I not D:
Okay, I shall blog about the UMPC first xD
Since that's what I'm using right now, dumdumdeedee.

The UMPC's purpose! is to:
Let me blog on this blog.
And since it's wireless, I can blog anywhere!
Dadada.
So, I shall bring it over to my cousin's house to get them jealous to interview them since they live in Malaysia, mhm, dumdumdum.
Yeah, and it's cool!:D
Although you have to charge it.
And you have to login from the school's username. Which I'm not revealing because there are bound to be hackers out there.
Yeah, so we just got them on Friday.
Mhmmmm.
Andandand, we can't do ANYTHING not pertaining to schoolwork :///////
Which is like, as good as cutting off the Internet >.>
Oh well, I'll live with it.

Yeah, now on to the topic. Can I not, pleeeeeeeease. D:
OH FORGET IT I'll do the dirty work on the other computer(:

FIELD TRIP, GET!
(:
It's on ethnic enclaves, if you didn't know, heh.

We went to the Burmese Temple.
No bonus points for guessing which enclave it is.
Apologies if I can't give you muchly information, heh, I procrastinated so long I can't remember a thing D:
Yeah, it was cool, heh. The monks were decked in saffron-coloured robes.
OH, AND DID YOU KNOW, MYANMAR IS FAMOUS FOR TEAK.
I didn't.
:D
Yeah, and Mr. Azahar said that the Myanmese government collect money as a source of revenue.
-straight face-
There, that sounds politically correct, ne? :D

Then we went to the Golden Mile Complex.
Thai enclaveeeeeeeeeeee.
'Tis really cool, because we got to fill up our hungry stomachs [[x
Yeah, and spend money. Heyy, at least we learnt about the cuisine right? :D
Erm, well, it tasted like... er, think of plain crackers plus a bit of salt plus more crunch plus rough texture, yeahh.
It's the orange biscuit friend thingum they sell in school. :D
We were told to write down Thai words. Unfortunately I didn't.
-cue gasp and shock-
Anyway, I couldn't really see the cultural aspect because what happened was mostly this:
Sam Chan: I WANT TO BUY FOOD. NOW.
Me: I WANT A WINDBREAKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Chelsea: OI! DO YOUR JOB LAH!
Regi-nuh: Come on, let's go take down some Thai words.

Yeah, slacker, WHATEVER.
I shall try harder for the next one <3

Peninsula Plaza, Burmese enclave [yet again, mhmmm.]
Nomnomnom. We nearly got to buy food. D: Oh well.
Golden Princess Pte Ltd got interviewed by us young aspiring journalists. :D
So yeah, and all but the beer and the liquor [which is much the same thing, anyway] were from Myanmar.
PRO-TIP: BUY FROM PENINSULA PLAZA, 'cos it's cheap. :D
And kunyar is this thingum which is spices wrapped in betel leaves. <3
Mingalaba, by the way, is good morning in Myanmar-isian.
Just try not to overdo it.
You: MINGALABA!
Random stranger: [o_____O]

Yeah, then we went to Lucky Plaza which is probably most famous of all the enclaves. Very obviously Filipino.
Mhmmmmmmmmmmm. So yeah, it was fun, but we didn't really get the culture 'cos we were to busy enjoying ourselves and waiting to go home. x:
Nomnomnom, picture post up next.
